Abstract
⺠Wave propagation in 1D structure is simulated using B-spline wavelet on interval finite element (BSWI). ⺠BSWI finite element can give a high accurate and effective solution for wave propagation problems. ⺠The influence of crack for wave propagation in 1D structure is presented. ⺠It is found that the influence of elastic foundation for wave propagation can be neglected.
