Abstract
⺠Health IT system designers and implementers may have frames of orientation regarding medical work that differ from the frames held by practitioners. ⺠Collisions in system frames and practitioner frames can result in adaptations by individuals and organizations. ⺠Adaptations are not universally negative, but instead sometimes result in productive changes to workflow, organizational policy and/or informatics tools.
