Abstract
⺠Doctor-patient communication is an important usability factor of a mobile EPR. ⺠The mobile EPR must be designed to support this communication. ⺠The user interface of the mobile EPR system is an important design element. ⺠The form factor of the mobile device is another important design element. ⺠A well-designed user interface and form factor can improve ward round communication.
