Abstract
⺠The use of shared electronic health records (EHR) was observed in diabetes services. ⺠Findings suggest that a shared EHR could support more integrated care. ⺠Unresolved issues in implementing the system were observed. ⺠Governance problems may arise in extending systems across organisational boundaries.
