Abstract
⺠Individual skill problems when accessing the Internet for health are examined. ⺠In general, people experience many skill-related problems online, especially related to information and strategic skills. ⺠Aging and lower levels of education contribute to the operational and formal skill problems. ⺠Older subjects are less likely to select irrelevant search results and use unreliable sources. ⺠Older subjects are less likely to make inappropriate decisions based on information gathered.
