Abstract
⺠Factors affecting acceptance of mobile ICT in a hospital was studied. ⺠Important informal communication was facilitated by rhythms in work. ⺠Rhythms supported by work related activities in common area and “gossip”. ⺠A mobile ICT tool freed workers from needing to visit common area. ⺠This tool disrupted these rhythms and the informal group meetings.
