Abstract
- We parallelize the Metropolis Monte Carlo (MMC) algorithm on one CPU-GPU duet.
- The Adaptive Tempering Monte Carlo employs MMC and profits from this CPU-GPU implementation.
- Our benchmark shows a size scaling-up speedup of 62 for systems with 225,000 particles.
- The testbed involves a polymeric system of oligopyrroles in the condensed phase.
- The CPU-GPU parallelization includes dipole-dipole & Mie-Jones classic potentials.
