Abstract
Distributed generations (DGs) can be used to enhance the power quality in islanded microgrids. However, if the DG line impedances are mismatched, the imbalance power for voltage unbalance compensation at the point of common coupling (PCC) cannot be accurately shared among the DGs. In order to overcome this problem, this paper proposes a distributed virtual negative-sequence impedance control for realizing the accurate imbalance power sharing. The consensus algorithm is used to adaptively regulate the virtual negative-sequence impedance. The control approach does not require the knowledge of the line impedance and central controller. Simulation and experimental results are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method for achieving the accurate imbalance power sharing to compensate the voltage unbalance at the PCC.
