Abstract
⺠The challenges to use satellite technologies in railway safety systems are exposed. ⺠We focus on dependability and safety properties given signal propagation problems. ⺠An approach to evaluate these properties for the localization function is proposed. ⺠The results show the impact of the function for different railway environments.
