Abstract
⺠We evaluate the ridership effects of real-time bus information in Chicago. ⺠A combined longitudinal data source and a quasi-experimental design were used. ⺠The provision of bus location information does help increase bus ridership. ⺠Routes provided with the information at a later stage tend to benefit more. ⺠There are no obvious geographical variations in the effects of the information.
