Abstract
Two new fault detection (FD) filters, which solve the Hâ/Hâ fault detection problem over a frequency region and over the entire imaginary axis, are presented. Each of the two new filters generalizes and outperforms an existing filter. A theoretical and numerical comparison with the existing filters is given.
