Abstract
This paper studies the FD problem for discrete-time uncertain LPV systems with double-layer polytopic description. A parameter-dependent non-minimal order FD filter is presented by taking into account both the parameter vectors and the uncertainties. H∞ performances are applied to characterize the disturbance attenuation and fault sensitivity specifications. Furthermore, multiple parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions and dilated LMI technique are adopted to derive the filter design conditions. It can be demonstrated that the FD performance improves as the order of the filter increases. The proposed parameter-dependent method has also been shown to be less conservative than the parameter-independent ones. The superiority and validity have been demonstrated through simulation results.
