Abstract
⺠An optimized measurement point selection method and a damping ID method are proposed. ⺠The new selection method reduces the computational cost and improves robustness. ⺠The damping ID method applies to mistuned systems using reduced-order-models. ⺠Both methods can be used for systems with regions of high modal density. ⺠Results indicate the damping ID is relatively insensitive to measurement noise.
