Abstract
In this paper we propose a binary phase shift keying-ultra wide band (BPSK-UWB) system in which multiple access is defined by chaotic time hopping. We showed that the performance of the proposed system depends on the invariant probability density of the used chaotic transformation; more over when the width of the pulse is little enough with respect to the period of one bit then the performance of the proposed system approaches the performance of the one user BPSK system. This result is confirmed by simulating the system and computing the binary error rate (BER).
