Abstract

- Crystallinity and particle size did not affect the trend of the yield stress-pH behaviour.
- Strong correlation between yield stress τy and zeta potential behaviour.
- The finer KGa-2 suspensions displayed a higher τy due to a larger particle concentration.
- Vitrified microstructures at maximum τy showed F-F (dominant), E-F and E-E interactions.
- Fractal dimension of 2.3 determined and independent of pH.
