Abstract
The hierarchical triangular prism arrays-on-nanoplatelets structure has been constructed on the aluminum surface by a one-step ammonia solution etching method. The resultant surface presents excellent super-repellence toward liquid droplets with surface tension ranged of 25.7-72.1Â mNÂ mâ1. The surface also shows excellent chemical stability under various harsh conditions.
