Abstract
- SiO2-TiO2 pomegranate-like microspheres were prepared by a three-step approach.
- The maximum numbers of SiO2 sub-units inside a SiO2-TiO2 microsphere were calculated.
- Effects of CTAB on features of SiO2-TiO2 pomegranate-like microspheres were studied.
- A possible mechanism for the formation of SiO2-TiO2 microspheres was proposed.
- SiO2-TiO2 pomegranate-like microspheres showed good photocatalytic activity.
