Abstract
- [Cn-3-Cnim]Br2 (n = 8, 10, 12) were synthesized and characterized.
- [Cn-3-Cnim]Br2 with longer alkyl chain length had lower cmc.
- They showed different micellization process within 293.15-313.15Â K.
- The micropolarity, Nagg of micelles decreased with alkyl chain length increasing.
- The aggregation size of [C12-3-C12im]Br2 was distributed in a wide range.
