Abstract
- Superior properties of PVI and MMT are brought together by synthesizing a new nanocomposite from quaternized PVI and MMT.
- Full characterizations of Q-PVI/MMT nanocomposite were carried out successfully.
- Effects of various cations, anions and temperature on the zeta-potentials of the materials were investigated.
- Charge reversal was occurred for the MMT particles dominantly caused by the specific adsorption of hydrolyzed Al ion species.
