Abstract
⺠A concept to obtain microparticle stabilized foams using short-chain amphiphiles is demonstrated. ⺠The foam includes a high microparticle fraction, since it is stabilized by surface modified particles only. ⺠This concept is used to separate these particles from an aqueous bulk phase via froth flotation. ⺠The mechanism of foam formation and particle transport is discussed.
