Abstract
- Coupling plasmon of DNA-assembled gold nanorods were systematically investigated.
- Increasing temperature significantly enhances interactions between gold nanorods.
- Absorbance and longitudinal plasmon band shift allow DNA detection and quantification.
- Blue shift of the longitudinal plasmon band can be used for DNA length discrimination.
