Abstract
- Monodispersed large-pore mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) were obtained.
- The nanoparticles presented well-ordered mesostructure and small particle size below 150Â nm.
- The obtained MSNs demonstrated great capabilities for protein encapsulation.
- In vitro experiment prefigured their potentials as protein delivery vehicles.
