Abstract
⺠We present results of particle tracking measurements of nanoparticles confined in 2D. ⺠We measure isothermal compression modulus as a function of nanoparticle areal density. ⺠We also measure the dynamical susceptibility as a function of nanoparticle areal density. ⺠We observed non-monotonic variation of susceptibility and modulus at high nanoparticle densities. ⺠The crossover density is close to the density of jamming transition of colloids in 2D.
