Abstract
⺠A doubly effective solution for waste rubber tires is reported, where waste rubber tires are converted to porous carbon. ⺠The tire-derived activated carbon was characterized by SEM, EDX, FTIR, and XRD. ⺠It was tested and evaluated as potential adsorbent removal of lead (II). ⺠The adsorption process is pH dependent.
