Abstract
⺠Integrated Navier-Stokes equation is used for uniform and sinusoidal capillaries. ⺠Inertia and dynamic contact angle have opposing effects on capillary flow. ⺠Nonuniform geometry significantly affects the kinetics of capillary flow. ⺠Nonuniform geometry induces wetting/dewetting hysterisis. ⺠Wettability decrease amplifies the effects of nonuniform geometry.
