Abstract
⺠Experimental study of the cleansing dynamics of oil removal from a solid surface using commercially available nanofluids. ⺠The positive contribution of nanoparticles on the cleansing performance was established. ⺠Experimental results confirm the novel mechanism of detergency based on the normal force, the structural disjoining pressure.
