Abstract
⺠The uniform hierarchical BiOBr microspheres were modified with CdS quantum dots. ⺠The CdS-BiOBr photocatalyst exhibited strong visible light response. ⺠CdS-BiOBr photocatalyst displayed enhanced photocatalytic activity. ⺠A photocatalytic mechanism was proposed.
