Abstract
⺠Struvite-saturated solutions were reacted at 25, 100, and 300 °C. ⺠Struvite, newberyite, and magnesium pyrophosphate were the dominant precipitates. ⺠Removal of Cr(III) with the solid phase was observed at all temperatures. ⺠At 300 °C removal from Cr(VI) solutions was facilitated by reduction to Cr(III). ⺠Cr(III) formed short-range polymers that were adsorbed to the mineral surface.
