Abstract
⺠Solution properties of fluorobenzoic acids (FBAs) were studied. ⺠Micellization of hexadecyltrimethylammonium fluorobenzoates (HTAFBs) was studied. ⺠The position of the fluorine atom in the counterion strongly affects these properties. ⺠Experimental results were explained via computational simulation.
