Abstract
► Reverse ATRP was used to synthesis HAP particles grafted with poly(methyl methacrylate). ► The surface-grafted HAP showed excellent dispersibility in MMA monomer. ► The compressive strength of HAP/PMMA composites was improved. ► This approach can give HAP nanoparticles novel properties for perspective applications.
