Abstract
⺠Adsorption/desorption behavior is markedly related with binding force. ⺠Most sulfur is recovered at initial stage during on site solvent washing. ⺠Outlet sulfur concentration cannot reach the corresponding initial sulfur level. ⺠Preferential adsorption of thiophenic sulfur exists in zeolites.
