Abstract
- Solvation power and selectivity are calculated for dipropylene glycol (DPG).
- Dipropylene glycol has a good solvation power but a weak selectivity compared with DEG.
- Counter current extraction columns with DPG in different conditions were simulated.
- Aromatics extraction from gasoline with DPG ensures obtaining of a pure raffinate.
