Abstract
- We computationally investigate 10 cyclones with different inlet dimensions.
- We examine the effects of inlet angle on flow pattern and pressure drop.
- Increasing the inlet angle reduces tangential velocities and cyclone pressure drop.
- Cyclones with helical-roof inlets have a higher aerodynamic efficiency.
