Abstract
- PP membrane was fabricated via TIPS method and pre-treated by Piranha solution.
- Piranha treatment added OH functional groups on the membrane surface.
- Silica nanoparticles were synthesized by Stober's method.
- SiO2 NPs covalently connected to the membrane by condensation reaction via OH group.
- Modified membrane showed great improvement in fouling and mechanical behavior.
