Abstract
Micro/Meso-HZSM-5 catalyst showed 94% acetic acid (AA) conversion and 95% selectivity towards benzyl acetate with reusability of six cycles without any loss in activity at optimized reaction parameters: molar ratio (AA: BA) of 1:4, catalyst loading of 10%, reaction temperature of 393Â K and reaction time of 120Â min.
