Abstract
⺠The popping noise was found to be generated by CIS (Condensation Induced Shock). ⺠A specific refrigerator was experimentally studied from a thermodynamic and acoustic point of view. ⺠The popping noise was completely averted by installing an additional internal heat exchanger, just before the filter dryer. ⺠The product energy consumption was not compromised.
