Abstract
► A conventional inverter air conditioner has a proper frequency range of 40-80 Hz. ► A modified system using evaporative cooling has a proper frequency range of 30-90 Hz. ► Capillary tube length of 887 mm with lower optimal charge of 1.1 kg was chosen for modified system. ► The flow rate of 100 and 200 l/h tends to improve COP for higher and lower frequency, respectively. ► The integrated model and the leakage inventory model predictions have good predictions.
