Abstract

The oxidation of N-piperidinylacetophenone by the fungal biocatalyst Beauveria bassiana ATCC-7159 was studied under different fermentation conditions. The isolation and product distribution of eight metabolites is reported. C-Hydroxylation of unfunctionalized carbon was observed together with Baeyer–Villiger oxidation, hydrolysis, and β-4-O-methylglucosidation of aromatic alcohol.
