Abstract
Biotransformation of diethyl of 2-oxo-2-phenylethylphosphonate using different fungal cells as biocatalysts yielded optically active O-phosphorylated derivative of 2-hydroxy-2-phenylethylphosphonate of satisfactory enantiomeric excess up to 99%.
