Abstract
96The following shows the colors of MO solutions after the adsorption by using bare AC powders, bare Fe3O4 nanoparticles, and Fe3O4/AC nanocomposites for 400â¯min. The MO solution alone has no responses to the magnetic field provided by Nd-Fe-B magnet (a). The bare AC powders have also no interactions with magnetic field (b). As expected, Fe3O4 nanoparticles can be controlled by magnetic field but few amounts of MO are adsorbed (c). The colors of MO solutions change significantly after dispersing Fe3O4/AC nanocomposites in the solutions, as shown in (d)â(g)
