Abstract
This paper presents a new scheme for the visual estimation of deviation of a system with respect to an object for which no feature is known (position, dimensions, â¦). This scheme is based on nonlinear observers and, thanks to an adequate combination of the visual information, requires reduced computation for its design. It is evaluated on a scenario describing the landing of an aircraft on an unknown runway and is validated with synthetic images.
