Abstract
⺠We present a description of an HPHT experimental method to deform diamonds under mantle-like conditions. ⺠EBSD is then used to investigate the resultant deformation characteristics. ⺠The results are then compared to two naturally deformed diamonds. ⺠This study shows the potential of EBSD to the investigation of plastic deformation in diamond.
