Abstract
A rhodamine derivative based chemosensor with high selectivity and quick respond to Hg2+ in aqueous solution have been synthesized. UV-vis absorbance of T1 with various metal ions (Na+, K+, Mg2+, Fe3+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cr3+, Hg2+) in H2O-EtOH (4:1, v/v).
