Abstract
- ZnAl2O4 and YF3 dual-phase glass ceramics were fabricated.
- Yb3+/Er3+ and Cr3+ dopants partitioned into ZnAl2O4 and YF3 respectively.
- Temperature-sensitive Er3+ up- and Cr3+ down-conversion emissions were detected.
- Such glass ceramic may find application in the dual-modal optical thermometry.
