Abstract
- Curcumin loaded cellulose acetate nanofiber membrane was fabricated by electrospinning method.
- This nanofiber membrane strip can be used for colorimetric sensing of lead (Pb2+) with good selectivity.
- The visual detection limit of Pb2+ is 20 μM involving a color change from yellow to orange.
- A good linear coefficient of 0.997 with the detection limit of 0.12 ± 0.01 μM was achieved.
- The sensor strip is biocompatible, low cost and suitable for on-site applications.
