Abstract
- A novel perylene bisimide-armed calix[4]-aza-crown (PB-CX[4]) was designed and synthesized.
- PB-CX[4] was characterized by using 1H, 13C, APT, COSY, FT-IR, elemental, Fluorescence and UV-vis data.
- PB-CX[4] showed highly selective and sensitive recognition towards Hg2+ based on PET mechanism.
- The utilization of PB-CX[4] as bio-imaging fluorescent probe was also realized in living cells.
