Abstract
- A core-shell structured optical sensor was constructed for nitrite ion sensing.
- Silica nanospheres were used as the inner core.
- Silica molecular sieve MCM-41 was applied as the shell.
- A rhodamine derivative was grafted into MCM-41 tunnels and served as the probe.
- Low detection limit of 2 μM and good selectivity were observed.
