- A thin-film of poly(pyrrole-3-carboxylic acid) was synthesized on pencil graphite.
- A novel serotonin sensing strategy was proposed in blood serum and urine.
- This strategy is based on electro-reduction of oxidation intermediate of serotonin.
- Proposed method showed high sensitivity and selectivity in serotonin determination.
- Analytical application of proposed method was successfully tested in real samples.
