Abstract
- We demonstrated the effect of VOCs on a SAW-based mercury vapor sensor at 35 and 75 °C.
- A SAW delay line sensor with a thin gold film was fabricated on a ST cut quartz substrate.
- Limit of detection of the sensor was about 2.6 and 1 ppbv at 35 and 75 °C, respectively.
- The sensor exhibited 95 ± 1% repeatability at both operating temperature.
- Sensor lost only up to 7% response magnitude in the presence of VOCs at both temperatures.
