Abstract
A novel, rapid and ultrasensitive sensor has been designed based on the new peroxynitrous acid (ONOOH)-calcein-modified kaolin chemiluminescence (CL) system for the determinating of calcein in common water samples with a satisfactory sensitivity and fast response time. The modified kaolin plays the catalyst and adsorbent role in the ONOOH-calcein-modified kaolin CL system. The CL enhancement is attributed to the increased efficiency of CL resonance energy transfer (CRET) and the greater ability of calcein to absorb energy and emit it through fluorescence.
